Update on amfori and SLCP collaboration

In early 2020, amfori and SLCP signed an agreement to explore greater collaboration. Our organizations share a common objective to eliminate audit duplication through trusted verified data exchange, enabling a redirection of resources to have higher impact on working conditions in the supply chain.

The purpose of the agreement was to further explore collaboration and promote cooperation between amfori and SLCP for the development and execution of a three-year plan. The plan was developed and agreed upon in 2020, but activity was then paused due to the impact of the pandemic. Activity resumed in the second half of 2021 and significant progress was made in terms of technical, content and Quality Assurance mapping. The outcomes of this work confirmed a high level of alignment between SLCP’s Converged Assessment Framework and amfori’s BSCI.   amfori is currently exploring its data integration approaches on its platform.

Both amfori and SLCP reconfirm the importance of our collaboration and will proceed with conversations to assess the opportunities. In particular, the integration of SLCP data on the amfori platform or an alternative solution will be further explored towards the end of this year with the ambition to agree on next steps in 2023.
